Sup all, what a crappy morning. Woke up with a hang-over too much , runnin late for work and my car doesn't start. I have a '99 V6. I don't have cables, my dad jacked that from me. I finally get cables and the car starts, now at work it doesn't start. I think its the ALTERNATOR, any other ideas. Now i need more

 

get out the backing soda and clean the contacts. also check for loose conntections. if the car starts when jumped and runs fine it is most likely NOT the alternator but maybe a discharged battery or bad battery.

 

Even when while i was driving my radio turns on and off?

 

definately sounds like a loose connection check the main fuse box for loose connections usually when your alt goes bad your car will not run or runs poorly.....

Also, just to be on the safe side, go have the battery and alternator checked out. PepBoys and Autozone, etc. do this for free.....just to make sure.
