Default Power Steering Line Repair

Hi, I need to either 1) repair the flexible rubber hose or 2) add a pipe peice to my modified car.

I haven't seen adds for replacement hose connectors but I figure there must be something like this on the market. This way I can cut the flexible hose original Prelude line and scab in the peice from the accord's pwr steering pump.

The other option would be to cut the metal tube, refalre and join.

Any ideas about how to handle this?

Thanks

RJ

Those types of high-pressure hydraulic lines have to have ends pressed onto them. I know most auto parts stores make custom hydro lines now so you might try that.

DON'T CUT THAT LINE!!!! You don't have a clue how much PSI is in those lines. That line will blow apart as soon as you start your car. I have tried it before. if you have a 92-96 pump get a prelude or accord line for that year. If you have a 97+ pump get the line for that pump. The threads that go into the rack or the same... one is longer than the other but it doens't matter. The threads are a 14 1.50. PM me with questions
