Got a svx engine. Was a great deal that I could not pass. Can I swap it in my accord. Now I have a H22 Engine in it. Let me know?

 

can you? probably, anything can be done with enough money and patience.

will it be a direct swap? far from it, expect custom everything, mounts, cv shafts, wiring, etc.

 

You could get lucky and not have to run a custom wire harness. A lot of the sensors used by the import engines are all made by the same companies and use standard bung & thread sizes. If that is the case then you may even get away with being able to run a chipped Honda ECU off the OEM Honda sensors. As for all of the mounting & fabrication I have no idea. If the Subbie will bolt up to the Honda Trannie or you can make a Subbie to Honda trannie adapter plate that will save you from having to deal with custom half shafts and axles....I've never done anything like this so this is all just my 0.02¢

If you have a project car why not Give'r a try and let us know how you make out. Take some comparison engine measurements at least

Torque: 228 @ 4400 rpm

Why bother?

Not that much of an increase to warrant the cost.

u can even make a 4WD CD accord if u want
