Default Welding on car, dident un hook battery, a few problems now

I changed my radiator and had to do some welding on the support, its getting old and need some love. So I Fill up on fluids and make sure every thing is tight.
I start the car (98 Civic Dx) to bring it up to temp .

The head lights ,dash ,fan motor, blinkers and you can see and hear the motor reving up and down at all MPH and RPM's. The radio is not effected. When i have the car Running and disconnect the battery is get severely worse and will not Rev up it just bogs like to poorly tuned carb.
I have added 2 more ground wires. 1 off of the alternator bracket and 1 by the distributor side of the block.
Also at the same time my speedometer stop working and my Auto trans started shifting horrible wrong.
Any help would be awesome
Thanks Nick

Sounds like it could be your ecu..Try disconnecting the battery while the car is off for a few mins then reconnecting it,that should reset the it

if you used an electric welder you definately ruined your ecu and any other computer components like it.
