Oil change results
Hi folks,
Thanks again for the great help you all gave me in getting ready for my oil change.
I wanted to share a couple things:
The oil was a nasty shade of red-brown. For a minute, I thought I had the tranny pan plug out by mistake!
Wow, the engine is quieter, even though I used a middle-of-the-rack Shell 10w30. I didn't think that it would make that much of an improvement, but the old oil and filter were rather funky.
The oil drain plug had no washer on it! I didn't know that the plug would seal without a crush washer. I added a washer.
Thanks again!
Ari
