What are these plugs and what to they do....

I know the first one is IAT sensor do I need it on my engine?
The second IDK what it is... also do I need it?

The engine I have is a D16Y8 that is converted to OBD1

 

The first is IAT, OBD1 engines have this in the intake manifold, OBD2 cars have it in the air intake pipe, you can use either of them, but you will need that for sure.

The second is the EVAP Purge Solenoid, and it mounts to the fuel rail. You can remove this, and either plug the vacuum line coming from the EVAP can, or route a vacuum line from the EVAP can to the intake arm with a check valve.

Thanks man Ill just extend the wires so it can fit on the intake... and I figured out how to put the EVAP on there.

Another question if neither of this were pluged in could it result the car redlining low? I mean bc Im running a virgen P28 and my car redlines at 5000 to 5500.
