Titan Supra won the event in the ultimate class.
Darin got 2nd in two classes, would of probably won but broke some parts.
Jessica Barton made it to the finals but red lit, she was running 9.5's all day.
Good job by everyone.

Part of the rear end, took out drive shaft and the exhaust. but he kept going cause he wanted to win.

I had fun yesterday. We broke the trans in the semis against Gary White in the Titan supra. The track conditions were very unusual, we cut our best 60' but then the tires shook all the way down the track. On one hit we spun really bad off the line, hooked through the 330 then spun the rest of the track. It was a well organized event and ran very smoothly. cant wait til next year.

...and once again we get a perfect example of why the safety rules are in effect -- see Darin's car -- that is why a driveshaft safety loop is required, he didn't have one as far as i have confirmed and how would you like 1/2 of an exhaust system flying at you at 130 mph ?

James, darin does have all his safety equipment and it was all on. His driveshaft loops were on and both driveshfts were still in tact in the loops, so that's why they didn't come out, but part of the driveshaft was still able to knock off the exhaust. The yoke of the diff came off as well and could have had part in taking out the exhaust. It was a crazy sight to see in person as well as the wheelstand by the copper car. It was a great event and we all had fun.
