Default Battery Reloaction

Anyone have any pics of a battery relocation for a whale *****. I've got a J's carbon one off of my civic I wanna put on the wife's SiR. I'm trying to figure out how much I need to move the battery to make it fit. All the way in the trunk? Pics of any relocations (accord) would be good.

Easiest thing?

Odyssey battery and fabricate a bracket to have it hang next to the tranny/starter right below the stock battery location.

It'll fit and give you clearance for the whale *****

I've tossed it around myself.

ehh yeah its kinda pain in the butt to get a custom bracket made in Japan, a little language barrier everywhere that isnt $$$"American Friendly"$$$. Kinda interested in seeing someone who has done it with an accord too. I had my civic battery in the trunk but that car was tracked. Kinda over kill in the accord DD.

No need to get a custom bracket.

You can order an Odyssey battery with a bracket specifically for that battery, that'll fit in the location I'm referring to.

Check out the "Shaved/Tucked/etc" thread in A/C.
