air conditioning problem

ok i just finished pumping freon in my car but i ran into a few problems and i hope ya can help...
first: the compressor whines when i rev up the engine and compressor doesnt cycle
second: the compressor clutch stops when i turn on the headlights... please help if you can

proper way to recharge the system (to ensure correct refigerant and oil amt) is to
1. evacuate the system
2. see if it holds a vaccum for at least 8 hours if not, repair leaks and replace accumulator/dryer and test again. (you only need to replace the acumulator/dryer once)
3. recharge using proper amt of R134a and PAG oil.
if the system is overcharged by a significant amount, the high pressure switch will prevent the compressor from engaging.
