Default Need help with ECU (i did search)

Ok i just bought a B16a2 swap from a buddy of mine (he never really messed with it when he had it) and we both have no clue what program is on the chip all we know is that it says "SST" on it so i searched it on google found the site that makes them but theres like 4 or so different programs that can be burnned on it soo do i just take it to a tune shop of some sort cause i really have no clue what to do and need help

that's more or less a re-flashable rom. does you no good if you don't know what program was dumped to it. also obd0 or obd1

so would it be possible if to get a tune shop to look at it? or should i just go ahead and buy a new chip for it

Then you would just have a blank chip with no EMS information! Any competent tuner / child with a ROM reader should be able to pull the chip and figure out what's on it; if not they can just overwrite it with a standard OBD-1 B16 set of maps.

or you can do it your self all you need is a rom read/burner/write. and crome. google.com 'crome.com'
