Are you kidding?? If i take off from a light at half throttle, i'll lay rubber for 20 feet, the difference is literally "night and day"!
The B20 is a torque monster, if going up a hill in 4th gear through the city and you need to speed up, just add gas, no down shifting necessary

My B20 get 500kms (im in Canada) to a tank, its a little more fuel, about 15% more than the d series i had before

Strange...I went from a D15 that had 400 miles/tank to a B20B that did 300/tank.

run a gsr tranny it has a little bit longer gear ratio then the b16a tranny becasue the gsr has more torque. but they still have the same 4.40 final drive. a b16a tranny is designed to hurry and g\et to vtec. but a ls tranny is a bit to long

It may be that gen B20B was the low comnpression model as most are. Mine is a high compression model from 1999 which makes better power and even less effort getting up to speed. There is a significant difference in the power band too, with the B20Z being higer by something like 1500rpm .
