Weird question... brake light assembly is squeaking very loudly
So, my coupe has been making a fair bit of noise from the rear end whenever I go over bigger bumps lately.
At first I thought it was the suspension. So I opened the trunk, had a seat on the edge, and used my weight to bounce the suspension around a bit. Seems all the noise is coming from my passenger side rear brake/signal light assembly. You wouldn't think so, but whatever that thing is rubbing against, or whatever it is, is making a ridiculous amount of noise. The whole thing seems to be pushed in a bit further than on the driver's side, relative to the bumper. So, I tried find a way to either push it out, or pull it out a bit. But, I couldn't find anything. And whatever I did try, I did very gingerly, as I don't want to break anything.
This seems really trivial, I know. But when I don't have music playing, that's the only noise I hear besides the engine and road noise. It's ridiculously annoying.
What can I do?
