1994 Accord Revs Up and Down When Going Up Hills on Highway
This problem is only noticable when I'm travelling over the bridge (Ben Franklin in Philadelphia) home from work, which is a long, steady incline or about a mile at 50mph. The car will jump between 3000 / 4000 RPM when I'm trying to keep up my speed. That said, the car does not perform well going up the hill, so I really have to press the gas hard to maintain 45-50mph.
This seems to be different than most up/down idle issues Accord owners experience, as this is on the highway, rather than at idle.
Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks for the help!
