I just bought a new battery since my old one died. i've been driver on this one for a day or two and now it wont start. i here this sound likes its trying to crank up and start but its like it doesnt have enough power. after about two times of hearing this i just here a clicking sound when i turn the key. i thought it might be the battery but i just bought it and the radio and lights still work. I have a 95 coupe by the way. does anyone have any ideas what it may be?

 

i was told that i need a new alternator. Could this be my problem for sure? if so how much is a new on and is it easy to replace?

 

Sounds like it is the alt. Charge the battery with a charger, if you charge it all the way and it starts thats gotta be it. they are not super expensive...i'd recommend replacing it yourself if you have the time. it's not too hard.

Well my radio works fine but the car wont start so i think it might be the starter. Some one else told me it may be the distributor. is there a way to test these theories

your radio and light do not take much power at all to run.
