Default Stock Crx Si seat built by Recaro?

Can someone confirm that the Crx Si (88-91) seats were built by Recaro? I heard it many times but no proof.

what the hell does it matter?

Most airplane seats are made by reacaro, if you've ever sat in a DC9 you know that's no SRD.

Recaro did make the OEM seat and makes a lot of OEM seats for a tons of things they also have the small aftermarket seat side to them.

This guy's all about the name. He most likely wears shirts that say "ABERCROMBIE" on them.

You know it. They even use recaro seats in city busses FWIW.

Okay calm down! No need to shoot me down on this. There is a civic forum that is compiling info about OEM Recaro seats:

http://wiki.clubcivicquebec.com/index.php/Recaro

So, I just wanted to confirm if Recaro built those seats to add to the list! I don't "care" about the name. The seats are will design and they are confortable. Man, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed!

i always heard that the model run had TWO versions of the seat. there was a minor model revision for 1990 and 1991.

That said, Honda used Recaro seats in 88 and 89. When they went to revise the model in 90 and 91, they manufactured their own seats that were very similar to the recaros.
