this seems like a dumb question but my cousin is doing an obd1 sohc vtec swap and conversion and the stock d16z6 driver side mount does not line up with the crx mount brackets, but in my 91 hatch it is the d16z6 driver side mount that we used... Anybody ever ran into this problem?

 

Someone is mistaken. The obd0 stock sohc mount from your ef must be bolted to the side of the engine and into the chassis. The obd1 mount can't be used

 

thanks for clearing that up. that is exactly what I was asking. The crx that the sohc vtec is going into had a Dohc zc in it, so we need to find stock crx si mounts.

so if im installing a Sohc vtec into my 91 civic si, i can use the stock mounts
