Default Passenger door sensor going crazy

somethings wrong with the sensor on my passenger door.

Everytime I hit a bump, any kid of bump, small, big, or just normal driving, the indicator on my gauge cluster would flash (thinking my passenger door is open) and it won't stop until I hit another bump...

How do I fix this?

on the door jamb theres a chrome latch that holds the door shut with two big phillips screws...ull need a big phillips to get good leverage... loosen those screws and slide that piece inward toward the car and retorque it down... this should make the door seal tighter up against the frame. if u have trouble loosening the screws, hit the butt of the screwdriver while trying to turn it. later.

thanks, I'll try that tomorrow morning...

But If that doesn't work, heres more info:
door is tight shut, I'm think maybe the wire/sensor is messed up or something...

Wouldn't the sensor run off the interior light switch thing? Its the thing you can push in while the door's open to trick the interior light into thinking the door is shut, my guess would be to clean the contact's on this.
