Ok soo a buddy of mine said that i can take a EG6 B-series shift linkage and cut and weld it just right for it to fit and work in my CRX is this true??? if so how much do i need to cut off and where?? cause he doesn't need his anymore and will give it to me for dirt cheap if not free or should i just skip the cutting and whatnot and just buy the Hasport EF B-series shift linkage, But i would still like to know if its possible. Thanks

i think the straight section on the linkage in about the middle area is were i was told when i was thinking of making a linkage. Every linkage is going to be a little different depending on what mounts you have everyones mounts are just slightly different some move the motor more left, righ, forward, backward so on.I lucked out by buddy sold me his mounts and linkage dirt cheap.

 

It's not a bolt in, thats for sure. Do what i did and find a jdm spec b linkage from crx on ebay. I bought mine for $50.....oem and fits like a glove.

 

that's how they used to do it(cut and weld) before hasport made a custom linkages.
