Default EX Header

I got a question about the 95 EX stock header.

Is this the same quality and performance as DC and Megan?

I wanted to get more power from this engine by upgrading the header but if I am getting the same amount of performance from this stock header why bother changing.

Which header brand will give me more HP than the stock header to use on F22A1?

EX headers flow well. There's almost no difference in buying a DC or Megan header. If you're going for looks, go for it, they look great. But power:money ratio you're practically not gaining anything, this is from research I've done, not personal.

I agree, the stock EX manifold flows well. We installed a Megan Racing header on our EX and noticed a small gain in the upper RPM range. Other than looks, an aftermarket header is lighter. Aside from that it's not a great return on your investment, power wise.

This all pertains to a stock motor with bolt-ons, if you're building the motor it's a different story. Then an aftermarket header would be more beneficial.

Ok. so header is out of the question.

I already installed a cold air, what next to upgrade exhaust or catback will I gain anything on upgrading the exhaust? And if install a catback will it still be able to pass smog?

If you want to change your whole exhaust system cat/mufflers you may as well just get a whole catback system. As for power wise...You'll notice the difference...as for how much?? Not much...you may gain max of 5-10HP depending which brand you're going for and pipe size.
