Default Another "how do I get this off?" question



i turn lefty loosy and it just keeps spinning, im not stripping it i see the whole thing spinning, i guess its stuck, any tips on how to pry it out?

you gotta pull on it wile you spin it, its one of those stupid
plastic clips and yea they are a bitch sometimes.

recently I resorted to driving a wood screw into that plastic screw so I could yank it out, that worked. or get a flathead or something under it so you can pry it up as you unscrew it

i just drilled a hole right down the middle of the screw. after that there was no screw so it just popped out. im pretty sure auto zone has those kinds of rivets. i was lucky i had extras.

yep, just drill it out and replace with new ones form A.Z. or go hit up your local pull-a-part and stock up like I did. Extra area great thing to have

Wedge a butter knife in between the car and the piece you want to remove while unscrewing it, should come right off.
