my 3 month old bright silver metallic mazdaspeed3 got a tiny (TINY) chip on the roof today from a flying pebble. it knicked it pretty good (deep) and though it's really tiny...it's right on the roof above where my head would be while sitting in the driver's seat, so the vast flatness and reflectiveness of that whole area sorta highlights the little thing. as usual, when i get a new car, i get my body shop guy to mix up a couple bottles of glasurit base to perfection so i can use it to touch up stuff throughout the car's life.
the prob is, now i've gotten enough paint in the spot with my tiny tiny Tamiya detail brush, i want to finish it off and make it so when i polish/wax the car, it won't clean out the base.
what kind of clear can i use to seal up that spot?

Duplicolor from Autozone has a clear. Works great. You can even wetsand it to blend it in with your exisiting clear should you choose to do so.
