Help, 94 LX "kicking/slipping" problem
Recently i had my exhaust changed after it was rusted and broke completely. So i did a 4-2-1 headers with a high flow cat and 2 1/4 inch piping back.. with a oem style muffler (yeah i know.. but i like the quiet.. and i tried the louder muffler first) anyways.. One day after work i started the car.. drove it down the road and about 4 miles later the car began running really rough.. almost like it was running on 3 cylinders.. the exhaust note was way off and the motor was vibrating alot. The guy at the auto store listened to it and told me it was a cylinder not firing. I bought new plugs.. seemed to fix the prblem. thenumber 3 cylinder plug was fouled. I gt it home and then messed with the wires.. the number 3 wire was off not hooking up correctly with the plug so i switched them out. The problem comes when the rpm is at 700-1000 and i give it a decent amount of throttle the engine bogs almost like it wants to die then kicks up. This is a prblem when driving b/c when i try to accel it bg and kicks almost like the clutch is slipping, but it does that action in nuteral.. Side note.. since this started happening the car is harder to start.. and often times it kicks over like it wants to start but makes a weird wine noise then dies.. makes me look like i am a retard next to people... so any ideas?
Alot of information here.. but thank you for reading. I am going to change the cap/rotor too.
