Yet another iacv Question!
So scenario is just bought this prelude from a buddy. The car is a 93 prelude si. Swap the guy did was the blue top f20b dohc vtec, which is a obd2 swap. He used a obd1 harness which looks to be from a h22. Problem im experiencing is the iacv has 3 prongs which the obd1 harness plug only has 2. Therefore im running into iacv surging because it doesnt have the proper connection. My buddy said the easiest way would be to get a obd1 h22 manifold, and obd1 iacv. Is this the only way or is their another hopefully easier way. I really dont feel like trying to get my fat fingers behind that manifold to unhook ****. Also heard if i had a euro R manifold they make a adaptor plate for this situation, but my luck i obviously dont have a euro r manifold on it. Any help is much appreciated, and if this has been covered my apologies i fail at searching.

Ok so no new replies, and now im even more lost. the usdm 93-96 and 97-01 iacv's are the same part #. So now i guess im under the assumption that its not a obd2-obd1 issue, that its more of the f20b manifold and different type of iacv issue. My buddy held up the obd1 iacv he had and believe the mounting was different. So yeah im just completely lost. please help
ok after taking a closer look, whoever did the swap used the existing valve which came with the swap, and appears to be a obd2 accord iacv. Which has a different iacv socket end the the prelude h22 valve. So it looks like they tryed to splice a accord harness iacv socket onto the harness, but still only had 2 wires going to the socket where the valve is 3 wires. The mounting for the h22 obd1 valve i have looks to be the same as the valve thats on it. So i guess now ihave to find a prelude iacv socket to splice back into the harness, or is their a different way to just splice something to where i can keep it the way it is?
