Default what is this hole?

just got my gsr engine back from golden eagle and its missing a plug, its the one just above the cank, looking at the flywheel mating surface, anybody know what its for and above all, what thread size so i can just get a plug at the hardware store

i think its some kind of temp sensor,i have an ls and thats what i kind of have

Default hole in block

it looks like it would be for a freeze out plug. if its the same size as the plugs on the rear of the block then you can find another one of those think its a big allen key oget them in
