Bump Cutting. I know someone out their can help.
So I've been looking over the chart that Tein sent me about bump cutting. It said cut (Ft)1inch(i take it Ft means front) before installing, the picture looks like its 1 inch from the bottom for the spring.Kinda hard to tell since the picture is in black in white.Me and a buddy of mine plan on installing them tomorrow,he works on the suspension of trucks.Hoping he understand this chart better then me.I was always told cutting 1 ring= 1 inch, any advice about bump cutting or info about suspension would help alot.Thnks
Thank you. that makes alot more sense then the chart they sent me.Two more question, the picture looks like its saying cut from the bottom part. You mean cut 3/4 of a inch from the top rite? Last the bump stop is just the brown rubber on the spring rite.Sorry for the noob question.
If you're trimming your bump stop, i took the shock out, took the boot off and all that process. when it came to the bump stop i trimmed 50mm from the top +fat top+ and down. i used a hack saw but a drummell would be most recomended. if you're installing it yourself, have fun, i enjoyed it, lol. i believe i only cut the rear bump stops too. if i was suppost to cut the front ones, then i fuked up. lol.
yea you cut the front two,you dont touch the back to.well i should be putting them on tomorrow.i will post pictures once im not a trail member anymore.
