S4C transmission grinding? 1st and 3rd!

S4C transmission grinding? 1st and 3rd!
i just baught a transmission for 750 and it grinds 1st and 3rd gear. is there anything i could do to prevent this besides rebuilding the transmission with new syncros? any type of oil or something that can lessen the grinding. thanks.

A temp fix would be GM Synchromesh Friction Modified. If you can obtain this discontinued fluid, it will lessen the grinding.
