CEL when coasting on 91 CB?
I bought a 91 2 dr CB7 a few months ago and the CEL randomly comes on, but today I notice its not so random after all.
When I'm driving at any giving speed, leave the car in gear, and take my foot off the gas, my check engine light comes on and stays on 'till I kill the car and start it again. However, if I decelerate by slowly backing off the pedal or just pushing the clutch in, it doesn't do it.
It also has a very crappy idle, could these two problems be linked?

On your car there is a Service Check Connection, behind the passenger side kick panel.
You can insert a jumper wire into the BLUE 2 PIN connection, then turn on the key and the CEL will give you a "flash" code.
Long blinks =10s
Short blinks=1s
if the code is retrieved it may be a great help towards finding the cause of your problems.
