91 Integra Test drive
Is 1500 a good price for a 91 GS with 182k miles? Interior's clean as well as the engine. Still pulls hard. Owner says he replaced timing belt, water pump, axle, battery, gasket and seals. Thing that bothers me is that oil light came on after the drive and abs light is on. Just going to use the car as a commuter. Any advice?
Edit: Forgot to add there's a minor dent on the driver's side front quarter panel. And it's got rims that are a little too big but I can live with it.

Since you're in Cali, make sure it's passed smog recently. If you're not the world's expert mechanic, ask if they'll let you take it to shop for a pre-purchase inspection. A decent shop or Acura dealer should be able to spot major problems, wrecks, etc. If they won't let you do it, they probably should not be trusted. I did this a few years ago, and it saved me big time.
Run the car fax to see if it's got wrecks/theft/salvage/odometer problems etc.
Look for signs of repair work, i.e. paint spatter, etc. See if your Vin numbers match up around the car too... Compression test the cylinders.....A '91 isn't going to be perfect, but well maintained Hondas can drive to the moon and back.....
