Any good write up's on rapairing carbon fiber?

I don't know exactly if carbon fiber can be repair exactly the same as it was when It was first created, but I think you can repair it in different ways....like if you have a crack/chip in your hood, you might be able to sand it down, just before the fabric, and fill with a clear resin, then sand and buff. but if there's serious damage, I think to get the same look that we're after with the carbon fiber, not sure, but I think you have to do something like, do the repair, then just lay another sheet of carbon on top of the entire thing, and go from there.

You won't find too many write ups on this because its unlikely to find the exact same problem twice. Other than oxidation there are plenty of problems c/f can have over time, or due to poor maintenance. Try posting some pictures. I've fixed some c/f problems before but I'm sure as hell not going to attempt a write up.
