Default Transmission Replacement & No D4 Light

Hello there. I have a question about my 2002 Accord SE. A few months ago, the D4 light on the panel went-out. Just yesterday, my mechanic said that he needs to replace the transmission. (Fully covered by the warranty! BRAND-NEW transmission and even covers labor. Talk about a blessing!) Anyway, my question is this--once the transmission is replaced, will my D4 light come back on? It never blinked like other people's did. It just completely shut-off one evening and never returned again.

Thank you for your time!

Sounds like the switch in the shifter or maybe even a bad bulb.
Maybe they will freebie fix that as well.

If your talking about the D4 light in the gauge cluster the bulb will need to be replaced.

Just an FYI the transmission thats being put in there is not NEW its going to be a RE-MAN. There is no way to get a new transmission.
