For those who put a shift boot on a 6th gen automatic
I know that some of you have done this..Please answer my question. Does the MT boot mount the same way on the AT placement?
In other words, can I just buy a 6th gen MT shift boot and put it on my auto?
WHY CANT ANYONE ANSWER THIS?!

it is not the same size/shape as the auto opening. it should work providing that there is enough movement in the boot for the auto lever to go from park to D1 once you resolve the opening issue
