upshift light on my 94 vx always on?

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'm pretty sure the shift light is controlled by a mix of TPS, RPM, and some other settings. I'm pretty sure it's controlled/decided when to light up by the ECU. Now that you have a chipped P28 instead of the OEM ECU... So you can either ask a tuner if you could get it burnt to the P28's bin, or you can look it up in a helms and d/c that wire.
wow, mine didnt work after i swapped in my gsr w/stock p72. my understanding is it doesnt go off any more because the stock d15z1 ecu was what controlled the shift light

i just swapped a jdm b18c in my 94 vx with a chipped p28 and now my shift light is always on ne 1 heard of this?
