Searched and got plenty of excellent Info and know where to start to diagnose the bastard's problem. It starts up and you're like "nothing wrong with the car" then after abouit 5 minutes **** starts stuttering and the damn d4 light starts to a blinking and the car wants and does die--- the bastard. Anyone ever have or seen this. Consensus is that its electrical--solenoids,tcm but anyone have this and solved it. thanks brainiacs

 

any cel from the engine?

 

behind the passengerside kick panel find the Blue 2 pin connector that is hanging around. insert a jumper wire and turn on the key.
You will get a "flash" code from the D4 light and maybe the CEL as well.
repost the codes and someone will know what they mean.
