aight i've been thinking either LS or zc .. and decided to go with DOHC ZC .. rasons why cheaper and easier swap ... but heres the thing i dont really know exactly what i need ... i know since my cars a SI all i need is the motor and either re-pin the dizzy wires or buy a harness for them ... then i believe im good to go .. correct me if im wrong .....

If its an 0BD0 motor, and it should be, you won't have to change anything.
And I think that the A6 dizzy bolts right on.....
IM user Jlicrx, he is a whiz on the DOHC ZC.

That is incorrect.
It the dizzy should be from an 88-89 integra. You have to rewire just a couple wires at the dizzy or you can buy one from Rywire.com

i talked to alot of people and places and they said i just need the motor ... and it will bolt right up and everting will work ... they said getting the teg ecu for it will make it run better and tell a big diff. in it .... nobody ever said anything about swapping the dizzy

He's right, just buy a motor and everything you need should be on your stock si motor. Like take the dizzy from it, axles, tranny, shift linkage, pretty sure intake manifold works, headers, almost everything can be swapped from your stock motor to the dohc zc.

You dont' need to swap Dizzy. A distributor should come with the motor. You can use your stock mounts axles, tranny. Everything will work. You just need to rewire the dizzy.

if you get lucky and the engine comes with a complete uncut engine harness, you don't need to do anything to install it in the 88 Si - just use the harness that comes on the engine - doesn't work for installing ZC in 89-91 car - if it doesn't come with a complete uncut harness, then use your Si harness and change the distributor connector:

That right there is the only difference if you get an OBD0 version. The only difference between the two is that on the D16A6, the cam position sensor is integrated into the distributor while on the DOHC ZC (or first gen integra equivalent D16A1) the cam position sensor is separate and mounted on the exhaust cam by itself. Easy fix, it's just two wires, splice as needed.
I personally couldn't verify if the D16A6 distributor will work, but the correct "equivalent" distributor to use is from the first gen integra (or the one that's actually meant for a DOHC ZC engine, hopefully yours will come with it).
