1996 Accord EX, 5 spd Paid $5,400 sold for $3,300

Bought it with 114,xxx miles and sold it with 165,000 miles. It was my first Honda and it got my feet wet in the world of imports. I actually joined this forum because of this car. My wife wanted a newer car that didn't have as many little problems and before anymore stuff happened.

I definitely enjoyed it.. The best mileage I ever reached was 36 mpg and it averaged 31-32 all the time.

As far as the engine/tranny: It was perfect. I was rather impressed with how... peppy, for lack of a better word, it was. All stock, save for an AEM intake.. Which made it sound rather awesome (wish my GSR sounded that good).


I had problems with the front window motors, the door lock actuators and the AC.. Had to replace the rotors, brakes and the struts weren't in that good of shape. Other than that, it was a relatively maintenance free car.

I bought it for my wife before we were married :S So it's got a lil sentimental value.

I'm looking to stay with an accord, except I'm gonna try to get a new one.. preferably 06 up.

So, this'll be my last thread in this forum.. Not that I post here much anymore, since I'm rather pre-occupied with my Integra.

I'll get some better pics tomorrow ( I work with the guy who bought it), since it looked really good with the wheels ( I think so anyway).
