Need 2 new tires, what should I get?
Nitto NT450's suck.. I had those on my car before.. they suck in dry, their even worse in wet, only plus side was treadwear and I guess price.. but still you could get better tires in its price range..
anyway what kind of budget (per tire, or total) are you willing to spend, what kind of driving do you do.. and what kind of weather conditions are you going to encounter...
the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position, Bridgestone Potenza RE730, Falken Azenis, Dunlop SP SPort 8000 and 9000 are all excellent tires... you might also look into the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's... I have the SP Sport 9000's and love them.. I wanted to get the S-03s for my next set of tires but they dont make them in the size I want (205/45/16)
but I've driven my friends car w/ these tires (205/50/15) on stock rims and they are great..

If you need 2 new tires then it means you're not rotating them like you should (unless 2 tires are damaged). Get 4 tires, something better than 450's, and keep them rotated every 4K-5K miles.

If you have 4 Nitto NT450s you might as well replace them all.
Sidewalls cracks and bulges started to form on them and I was too scared to keep it.

I would recommend checking out the latest issue of SCC. They've got a whole section dedicated to tires in the nov '02 issue. You're sure to learn something about tires as well. My personal favorite would have to be the Falken Azenis Sport. Good luck!
