What car? I have KSports on my S2000 now, after having Bilstein PSS9s, Megan Racing and some Teins before all that.. in all honesty, the KSports have a great ride quality and I'm running a much higher spring rate than any of the previous coilovers. Bilsteins are pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to ride comfort, so I was curious how the KSports compared.. For reference, the PSS9s were 7kg front, 5kg rear rates. I switched springs and am now running 12/10 with the KSports (from the 10/7) the kit comes with and it's smooth as glass. I've had KSports on three other cars and had great results with all three.

I have had K-sports for about a year now and for the price, they are hard to beat. There are some better coilovers out there, but at twice the price.

No they haven't blown yet? From what I heard prior to purchasing them, they switched their seals. At the time I didnt have mony for what I wanted and was hoping to have last a year or two. I like the way they perform and so far they have lasted. I am not saying they are the best coilovers out there, but for what I paid for them $600, they were worth it.

I'm assuming this is for a '96-00 Civic EX, since you didn't bother to mention the year or model.

The K-sport Kontrol Pros (10kg-mm F/6kg-mm R) are not going to ride as comfortably as the Tein Basics (8kg-mm F/4kg-mm R). That's not to say that you won't like them, since everyone's personal tolerance is different, but they will be noticeably harsher due to several factors. It's a bit of an apples-to-oranges comparison though, since they are intended for two different purposes - the Basics are an inexpensive entry-level setup optimized for street comfort, while the K-sports are intended for more sport-oriented applications.

yes i do have a 2000 ex coupe...thanks man...well to come and think of it..i might just buy the tein flex...i know its alot more money but i think of it and i guess you just have to pay more to get a better suspension...i really just want a comfort ride..not really into racing..but let me know what you guys think about the tein flex...

The Flex will ride harsher than the Basics, but may feel softer than or similar to the K-sports depending on how the damping curves compare between the two. The Flex spring rates are right in the middle at 9 kg-mm F and 5 kg-mm R.
