I wonder if anyone knows the following:

* are the sunroofs (and the glass part of it) the same for all the ef model years?
* are there any sunroofs or maybe just the glass part of it out of other Honda models, like for instance Preludes from those or earlier years, that would fit the ef model (and specifically a 1989 model)?

I have searched for this topic on this forum but didn't find answers to these particular questions and since the sunroof questions come up regulalry I thought it was handy to have the info here what all can be used as replacement, which years will fit what and so forth.

I don't know the answer to your fitment questions, but if you find out that the glass from a 90 HB works for you, I have an extra a pulled off my rally car that I don't need. Its in good shape.

 

88-89 sunroofs will not fit on a 90-91 crx. I tried it with my brother's crx just to see and they didn't fit right. Just figured I'd let you know. Good luck with this.

Will glass from any year 4th gen Civic Si fit the other years? Anyone know?
