Default 4-1 vs 4-2-1

Right now I've got a dc 4-1 ceramic header on my 95 gsr. I'm looking to replace it because I've scrapped it pretty bad over the last year. I hear different things about 4-1 and 4-2-1 headers. I want to run a strong 1/4 mile. Should I stick with the 4-1 or try a 4-2-1?

4-2-1 Hytech . 4-2-1 for good low and mid range torque, 4-1 for top end. The new Hybrid design(Hytech) makes power in the whole RPM range, but they are expensive and you need tuning.

this will not answer your question because all have opinions..

study the gains of each design and decide what will work best for you.
