Default Converting to OBD1: 1990 Honda CRX Si

alright, im gonna start with a list of parts im using

boomslang obd0-obd1 jumper harness
chipped obd1 p28
obd1 4 wire o2 sensor
obd2 gsr distributor

ive got all the vtec wires done
i wired the obd2 distributor wires to the obd0 distributor engine harness, i have crank with spark and fuel, but no start...i used the supplied boomslang conversion instructions for the distributor wiring, they are as follows:

BOOMSLANG INSTRUCTIONS
obd2--->obd0

(CYPP)dark blue--->orange
(CYPG)white--->white
(TDCP)green--->orange/blue
(TDCG)red--->white/blue
(CKPP)yellow--->blue/green
(CKPG)black--->blue/yellow
(ICM)yellow/green--->large white
(IGN OUT)black/yellow--->black/yellow
(TACH OUT)blue--->blue

i did however come across a different color matching diagram that conflicted with what i have above

RYWIRE
obd0
(CKPP)orange
(CKPG)white
(CYPP)blue/green
(CYPG)blue/yellow
(TDCP)orange/blue
(TDCG)white/blue

can anybody confirm either of these wiring color matchings instructions? help is greatly appreciated

i dont think rywire places emphasis on wire color but moreso the plug itself... ur gonna need a pinout chart. this post on hondaswap.com talks about boomslang's instructions and has pics

if you had fire, it was wired properly. Is your tank low on gas? Do you hear your pump prime the system? Check your alternator solenoid fuse(aka, controls everything that matters fuse).

the wiring color match was wrong...i ended up researching each individual wire color and function and wiring it correctly...it runs great now, no CEL or anything

yes...that chart is incorrect according to color and funtion...the only ones that were the same were ICM, IGN output and Tach Output

i wired it this way...

obd0 -- obd2
(ckpp) orange -- yellow
(ckpg) white -- black
(cypp) blue/green -- blue
(cypg) blue/yellow -- white
