Everyone on honda-tech hates my wheels but I don't care, I like em. Few pics with my new suspension installed. Bought some custom rate k sport coilovers from a fellow ht member and put them on:







I know I am going to get more hate but I think its awesome to see everyones comments.

 

I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I think the overall look of the car would improve drastically if you painted your side skirt, giving it that lower look and thus making it more complete? I don't know just my opinion but the wheels aren't that bad i dont think

 

Agreed! Its your car and do whatever makes you happy. It would look real nice if the sides and front lip is paint matched imo.

I'll just give the responses in advance, here....

- Packers wheels are ugly
- Front lip is ugly
- Back bumper is dirty as hell

I think there are other EJs that have been hated on harder.

Btw....you might be able to pull those wheels off if you cleaned up the rest of the car. Paint matched sideskirts, moldings, etc., a paint matched CTR lip, a washed rear bumper with the Civic badge removed....all these things could be done for a total of a couple hundred bucks and would go a long way for your car.

i actually like the wheels. it's the lip that doesn't really catch my eye.

 

yeah, the front lip came on the car when I got it, it will be gone very shortly for a stock lip

 

I think it looks pretty dope It's much better now that it's been lowered

 

Meh, don't really care for the wheels. The front lip sucks ***. I rather just take it off and leave it as is. I hope the stock lip you're talking about is the SiR lip.

And a clean up can do a whole worlds of a difference.

honestly, it needs a better paint job to pull off those wheels. Doesnt flow at all all. Your car is silver, black housed front, black lip, and BAM green wheels.



Would look better silver or polished or even white.

its not hating. Its truth. It just gets annoying when people don't want to spend money to be different, they just paint their wheels gay colors..

UCLA's chop ftw! the rims would look 1000000000X better if it were polished or gunmetal thats for sure. the green...........not a fan. but overall nice coupe
