Default clutch pedal-feel and mis-shifting

I may not be using right terms but I'll try and explain how things currently feel and see if anyone has seen this before/knows what's going on. Went on long road trip 2 weeks ago and on way home started noticing the clutch just didn't have the same 'feel' as it use to have. It's an ACT clutch that I had put in about 2 years ago during the build of my b18c5. I've put about 12k on the engine since then.

I started mis-shifting mainly on downshifts from 5th to 4th....I was feeling like I had to search around a bit on the downshift to find 4th. Nails on a chalkboard would have been music to my ears compared to what happened on the mis-shifts.

At the time I thought the clutch was feeling a bit different but figured maybe it was just me because I was tired...which I was but whatever. But, I'd still notice this occasionally on the way home. Anyway, today again spent the majority of the day in my car and especially tonight noticed the feel of the clutch.

You depress the clutch and after the first 25% of pedal-travel occurs it feels like I'm in no-mans-land so to speak....it just feels like mush and is hard to tell is clutch is 25/33/50/75%/etc engaged?

Anyone experience this before or know what I might want to take a look at? And I suppose the other issue would be the damage to drivetrain which something tells me has already happened. These mis-shifts always happened at high-speed.....5th gear at maybe 4 grand and before entering a twisty section/corner downshift to 4th at around 5.5 grand.

Have you checked the clutch master cylinder reseviour? Is it empty or nearly empty? Or the fluid low? If so then you have a leak, and you have air in the hydraulic system (which could also rarely occur even if the fluid level hasn't dropped).

First thing is to bleed the clutch hydraulics, then see if the fluid drops or the pedal becomes vague again after a while. If it does then you definitely have a leak and need to locate and fix it. If bleeding the hydraulics makes no difference then something else is amiss, but you're not ready to jump that fence just yet.
