I bought the stuff at home depot..but how did u cut it in half ....so it was in a straight line...seeing as there is a top lip and a bottom lip... thanks

 

leave the round edge on there, that'll be the bottom of the lip. just take a razor blade (watch your fingers ) and trim off the other edge w/ like the three things sticking out that's used to hold it in the ground (when used properly )

From what your describing, it sounds like you bought the wrong stuff. Did you get Cove Base Molding? That stuff only needs to be cut to lengh and a razor blade goes right through it.

 

I used badass siccors to cut my top part off. I used the round part for the bottom. Oh BTW I used garden edging so I dont know about the cove molding stuff

I didn't do it, I have a CRX front lip on my Civic, but you could take like a yard stick and an exacto knife.

Ok now i need opinion...i just cut the stuff to lenth ...and i have a black bumper...and the stuff doents match...should i put it on anyways or what?? its allittle darker then the bumper
