the reason i ask is because i was reading a description and it said this

This is an OEM instrument gauge cluster, complete and ready to plug in, for a 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, or 2000 Honda Civic, AUTOMATIC transmission. This will fit the 2-Door, 4-Door, and Hatchback body styles; EX, LX, and DX models. This is NOT equipped with ABS (anti-lock brakes).

and when i asked they reponded it will not work if the car has ABS

It will work on a car without or with ABS. The ABS light is from a separate harness that plugs into its independent plug.

He probably doesn't have it yet, he wants to know if its going to fit before he buys it.
