lightweight 16" rims?
I was gonna get the kosei k-1's but apparently they don't do accord bolt patterns in 16". So that leaves me 2 choices; different rims or do a prelude 5 bolt conversion. Anyone know of similarly priced lightweight 16's?
Thanks.
Thanks.
rota's are the only ones i can think of off the top-o-mi head.
they are on groupbuycenter all the time with deals... just look around.
i had my heart set on 16's too, then when i found out about the k-1's i just went with the 15x7. you can get the same amount of rubber on the 15 for cheaper too. i liked my first set of 15" k-1s so much i bought a second set for my "race onlys"
i bought both sets from http://www.tirerack.com <= good people

i mostly wanted 16's cause that puts me on 50 series tires. the 60 series on my stock 15's don't seem to hold to well. i don't want to go to 17's cause of the price jump and it's a daily driver and the only roads i don't drive on are dirt ones.
well, for my street tires i run 205/55 khumo ecstas and they do fine on the street. i have no complaints from them whatsoever. and they are like $70 a tire.
at events i run my 225/50 khumo victoracers and their the sickest tires ive ever owned. ive actually placed first in both events ive competed in since buying those tires. i have no rubbin problems at all with the 225 series, but 4doorh22 had to use 5mm spacers in his rear wheels becuase they rubbed on his suspension. he has a 4th gen too.
oh ya, 4doorh22 runs 15x7 K-1's too!

Works today, weird. Those are some big *** tires. He races on those? So with the tires being 225 wide the 50 series tires are pretty tall? So the speedo isn't out much right? What kind of tires are those?
Sorry for all the questions. I just want to be clear.

Check out Volk Racing CE28N in 16". They are pretty light and are bad ***!
not to mention ordering anything from rays engineering takes up to 6months to recieve. there wheels are still badass though, too bad there only in reach to guys in a higher tax bracket!
SSR Integral, 16x8 and $249 each at tirerack.com.
I'm not sure if they fit the 4x114.3 bolt pattern though, I'm looking at 5x114.3 for the odyssey brake and 5-lug convert.
