How hard would it be to....
replace the seals where the spark plugs are located? im getting a oil/gas mixtures more gas in my spark plugs. Very little in #1, #2 none, #3 alot, #4 a medium amount. And how would i go about doing it my self. Casue it seems like honda is the only 1 that will do it for about $400, and ya i might as well buy a used motor fora bit more...lol

The spark plug tube seals (O-rings) keep oil from leaking into the tubes. If you're getting gas/oil mix, you've got other problems. As for how difficult it is to replace them, I don't know. Some engines have both upper and lower seals and involve more labor.

The valve cover gasket kits are pretty easy to implement. Just make sure not to overtighten the VC nuts. I hear bad things can come from this.

The seals only hold out oil, and if the do go they aren't going to be letting in gas. So if you are getting gas into the spark plug tubes, first make sure the spark plug is tightened all the way and the threads aren't damaged.
