secondary o2 sensor question
hey h-t, i have a 96 civic coupe with the cel on, it is giving me number 65 which is the secondary oxygen sensor heater wire (black wires). i am wondering what i would have to do to fix it, do i just buy another o2 sensor or is it the cat? thanks in advance
o2 sensor is a wear and tear item so u cant fix it. simply buy a new one and replace it. ngk makes a good one. http://www.ngk.com
and secondary o2 sensor is the one on the cat convertor.

Usually when the cat goes bad, along with a rattle, you'll notice a decrease in performance/mileage

Also it code is for the heater circut. Not the signal. If it was the signal part then it could be the cat.
The heater circut is checkable with an ohm meter.
