Looking for pics of Autox and Drag yugo from northeast...old guy
Does anyone remember the old bearded gentleman that use to tow his drag allmotor yugo to the events at etown and atco with his autox yugo? I can't seem to find any old photos of it or him.

nevermind....i found it/him. Once i looked up underdog yugo i found it.
sweet. info just to bring back drag memories for us northeast guys. He's still motoring in AZ.

Best part was that he towed it with another Yugo!

Dave was a very hardcore racer and one of the nicest around. I remember growing up with him around at the races and we would race the VW and he had the Yugo. Guy was amazing. Made his own fiberglass doors, front hood, rear trunk, and even intake manifold.
I also learned many bracket racing tricks from good ol dave. Two of them are write the dial in on the INSIDE of the drivers window so you can easily erase or change it once strapped into the car and also put a tape recorder in the car to listen to the run up close and be more in touch with the car

I remeber that guy from the Pan American Nationals.He had more fans in Atco than a lot of the cars that were running in the low 8 sec.Cool guy I talked to him a few times out there.He was always happy to run low 15 or hi 14 sec.
