Are the 06/07si ,s2k,and the itr mufflers all the same inlet size?Which one has the best fitment on 92-95 h/b?I need a oem muffler(cops are gettin bad here) need an idea of what to get.I also have to say i can get used s2k or 06si muffler for around 50-60 bucks only way to get itr for me is new at dealer for $200.Also would i be better with a resonator or hi flow cat.I have 2.5 piping and currently have no cat or resonator,so i need least amount of "bottle necking"as possible.I'm looking to get the least power loss,quitest possible sound,and the oem look.(im hard to please)All help is much appriecated as i need this soon tickets and cops ftmfl! you can get a resonator or something like the magnaflow high flow cat you will love it either will do the job i went with the magnaflow high flow cat... and about the fitment it doesnt really matter cuz at the muffler shop they can make just about anything fit.. all of those mufflers will fit on your car

 

Thanks.I know they can make'em fit on,but some might sit to far in/out,hang to low and some inlets are on left or right side which means they would sit in a diffrent spots.I'm kind of picky on my car,i guess.I was thinkin hi flo cat for quieter but wondering if resonator is better performing or has louder sound.Thanks again!

they are like the same thing... a high flow cat doesnt have much in it like a resonator so the muffling of the sound is gonna be similar so just roll a dice and pick one basically because the performance difference is basically unmeasurable.. and when it comes to fitment they can make the muffler fit almost exactly like your stock muffler doesnt matter what car its off or what design with a little cutting and welding it will come out right

yup 2.25 same as your piping its just an si muffler so theres a little less restriction by using it... its a great add on for the price and the best part is that its still a stock muffler

 

The RSX-S muffler is 2.25 I believe, very quiet and sexy!

Cool thanks to all of you who replied.I found a 07si axle back for $60.I think im going to go for that because it local and only has 10k miles on it.The guy keeps telling me its 2.05" inlet maybe he means inner diameter not outer,says he measured it.IDK?Im thinking im getting it anyways.Thanks again!

 

Do you think the 07 si muffler will be loud?My friends has a stock si you can definately hear it.Thanks
