Box volume is dependent on the Thiele-Small parameters of the speaker, so before you can know the box volume you need to have the make and model of the speaker, [sub].

what do you mean model of the sub the power of it?

yeah the make and model of the sub. once you have that you can look up specs for the sub and find out what volume that sub needs in a box. then you can go about building or buying the box.
